Joel Fritzon

Joel Fritzon, born 1989, is a Swedish dancer based in Copenhagen.

Educated from The Danish School of Performing Arts 2011 and Codarts Rotterdam Academy in 2010.  Joel joined Danish Dance Theatre as an apperentice after finishing his education at the Danish School of Performing Arts. In 2012 he also took a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance at London Contemporary Dance School. Joel was employed by Danish Dance Theatre between 2011-2015, where he worked primarily with the artistic director Tim Rushton. Other choreographers choreographing for the company during his time there was Kim Brandstrup, Örjan Andersson, Itzik Galili, Wang Yuanyuan, André Mesquita, Alessandro Sousa Pereira and Fabio Liberti.

In 2015 he danced in 2 opera productions at the Royal Opera House in London. Król Roger with Cathy Marston as choreographer, and Eugene Onegin with Signe Fabricius as choreographer and Kaspar Holten as director in both productions. Joel also joined the Summer Ballet 2015 with the production Lolita at Bellevue Teateret in Denmark with choreography by Cathy Marston. 

Joel is a dancer in ULTRA.
